Each year, student athletes from all over the country come to Oregon to compete in the Nike Cross Nationals—often making the trek at their own expense. It’s impractical for friends and family to attend the event in person to watch, participate, and cheer. So, we created an online event management platform that publishes live stats via Facebook status updates when the RFID chips cross the mat. We also created a frenzied spectator forum with rapid fire posts. Friends and supporters across the country could feel the energy as they watched the event live on NXN Facebook page.
